  I purchased the replacement optical drive for the PS1 and it did not work it couldn't read the disc and it sounded like it there was something stuck in it not being able to spin the disc to read it properly and it was so loud someone actually heard the ps1 trying to read the disc from the other room

  Item arrived slightly bent from shipping but it fits the PS3 slim just fine, comes with four small screws for the drive but not the blue caddy screw, otherwise happy for this quick replacement.
