  Sold as new, knife sheath strap was cut or broken in half when knife arrived . I had a length of ballistic nylon strap I removed old button snap , had to drill center of the snap out to separate it ,punch a hole in new strap , crimp old button on then adjust the length to anchor backside of strap. whole thing took about a hour and half.
