I started this business for the flexibility it brought me and out of a love for recycling and repurposing clothing and other decorative items that might otherwise find their way to the landfill. I have always enjoyed knitting and sewing, and really enjoy when I come across a beautifully made linen, cotton, wool, silk or cashmere garment that needs a little freshening to give it a second life. My grandmother was the one who taught me to sew and knit & she was a recycling pro. I still knit and sew daily and even enjoy wearing her 1930's wool skating skirt!
