I’m very sorry that I can no longer ship orders to the United States This is not my choice – it’s due to new U.S. customs rules starting August 29, 2025
This is because of recent changes to US import rules — the end of the de minimis exemption. Until recently, US buyers could order items under $800 without customs checks. A temporary flat rate charge is being imposed by USA customs of $80 to $200 for every imported parcel regardless of value.!
These import taxes must now be paid by the sender in advance, instead of by the buyer on delivery.
Unfortunately, the U.S. has not yet provided European postal services with a way to collect and pay these taxes. Because of this, La Poste (the French postal service) – like many others in Europe – has temporarily stopped shipments to the USA from August 25, 2025, until further notice.
