  The boots were very nice until I took them out of the shipping box and bag and found to have a sticky residue and I tried cleaning them as much as I could. I still tried to wear them at home only to find the sole fell apart only after 15 minutes. My husband was wondering what the black pieces of rubber were from. It was very disappointing. I put them in the trash afterwards.

  I’m really sorry to hear about your experience and totally understand your frustration. As noted in the product description, the boots were unworn but had been in storage for a long time, and the soles were significantly deteriorated and needed to be replaced. That said, I apologize if that detail was missed or if it caused inconvenience.
