  The arm pads have thick padding.I didn't expect it to be that good. It helps my mom with her arms. Elderly people have thin skin. I needed something to help her not bang her arms up as much.These are perfect for anyone needing arm protection for themselves or their family. This type was so hard to find but they work and she's happy. A better picture of it may help it sell since It doesn't look exactly like the picture.The padding is staggered and thick which helps with brusing.
