My dad owned a couple baseball card/video stores in the late 80s through the mid-90s. Wow! It was a preteen's dream come true. We sold baseball cards, heavy metal shirts, soda, candy, cigs without a license, rented movies (we had the largest selection of horror around), and rented video games (even Gameboy and TurboGrafx). Of course, I had to try all the games first and watch all the movies the day they came out. Imagine a VHS tape used to cost about $65! Well, I thought I was going to inherit the stores and live the rest of my life in a pop culture dreamland. LOL! I became a teacher, a job I love, and think about those memories from the store almost on a daily basis. Having this little eBay store helps to shine light on those golden days.
