  In spec, very good machining. Only downside is the bushings slide down into the "foam holes" where it's hard to grab them. Recommend.

  Without some decent modification to the ' jaws' area - these are completely useless for the task. The jaws are so wide, that you can't push them through fine mesh. I was using 12mm hole mesh & they wouldn't work - until i modified them. Once i had, they worked quite well. I found the mechanism very fiddly - to open - so you could load the staples - then equally fiddly to get to shut - to apply spring pressure on the staples, to make the tool work. Typical cheap Chinese manufacture.

  Early days so far but this looks and feels like it will last. Bought to replace a defunct irrigation timer made by Hozelock which died just after the guarantee expired. So why pay 3x as much if the Hozelock ones don’t last very long. This new one is very accurate with start and finish times and easy to program. Why pay more when this does the same job.
