    installed relief valve with o-ring seal and torqued to spec. of 18 ft-lb for 3/8-16 Grade 2 thread. Charged with R134a by weight from scale to factory spec.. Used an electronic leaked detector to check integrity of vale and it was leaking. Recovered remain refrigerant and replaced valve with ACDelco A/C Compressor Relief Valve 15-5711. Recharged system and it now have a leak free system.

    I'M really sorry for the inconvenience, I could help you with a refund or replacement. Those are new aftermarket parts that we don’t make. A lot of part are defective from factory and there isn't a way for us to knowing which one will be defective, but with communications everything has a solutions. Is really sad how a $17 new defective part made from others can damage our company without even having the opportunity to correct the issue since I found out through this review.

    This part did not work and it cost me the labor to have it install installed. Very disappointed. The clutch wheel did not spin and began to fall apart after installation. In the end I had to purchase a new OEM part and pay double labor.

    I'm pretty sure that the mechanic is certified with 20 or more years of experience, but those are the one that never flushed the system, changed the drier, expansion valve and/or condenser. They are certified in locked and/or contaminating the compressor ( that is why they didn't request a return to obtain a full refund), just to blame the part that costumer brought. Of course they will gladly do that because they will have a second labor to charged in no time.REMEMBER FREE RETURN WAS AVAILABLE
