    It’s good quality and makes your standard 61 SG look like a custom shop model. That said, the cut doesn’t match a 61 SG as tightly as the stock one. But the screw holes do match up thankfully. So if you want perfect, this ain’t it. But it’s a good option for that CS Gibson look. YMMV though

    You'll rarely end up with a perfect fit on an SG pickguard until you loosen your pickup surrounds, skooch them tight against the edge of the pickguard and tighten them back down. That's how it's done.
