  My former husband served aboard the U.S.S. Birmingham SSN both in Norfolk, VA and Pearl Harbor. I sold my stamp collection many years ago, but when I saw this Birmingham first day cover, I had to have it. This first day cover isn't in the best condition and certainly would add no monentary value to any stamp collecter's collection, but it is a good memento of my time as a Birmingham wife.

  My former husband served aboard the U.S.S.Birmingham SSN 695 both in Norfolk, VA and Pearl Harbor, Hawai'i. I long since sold my stamp collection. When I saw first day cover for the Birmingham, I had to have it. It has no monetary value, but I have great memories as a Birmingham wife. The condition is okay but not good enough for any worthwhile stamp collection.
