As a former history teacher, I have great respect and knowledge of historical events that have impacted the growth of the United States and countries around the world. For the past several years, I have been canvassing estate sales throughout the Connecticut, upstate New York, and western Massachusetts regions in search of rare and collectible vintage books. In my travels, I have found a number of historical letters and books that would get any historian or collector excited, including signatures of Andrew Carnegie, Walt Whitman, Mark Twain and Robert Kennedy. I also work with an auction house who relies on my research to purchase and price their items appropriately. The items in my store vary in value and are priced according to their condition, age, and the rarity of the edition.
