  The supplier's communication was excellent. He told me early on it would be a week late. It was described as unused. However, it had a dirty waterline mark and the thread was full of dirt which suggest some usage. It took a lot of effort & different techniques to forceably unscrew the cap off its spigot. At the end of the day, I got an access cap to fit my pipe and seal it. It just took more effort than I had bargained for to initially unscrew it.
