    The bag I received was very obviously fake. I spot it within seconds. I still had it go through a test online where they confirmed my suspicious. Although I sent the bag back and received a refund, I still had to pay customs of £174 which I didn’t get back. I’m upset as this could have easily avoided if the seller just had done a simple check. (Anyone familiar with the gaucho would have seen this was a fake copy) Instead the bag was shipped back and forth across the globe which cost me £174.

    This bag was authenticated in person by a professional in Japan before shipping. The buyer claimed it was fake based on an online photo review, but this is a vintage item and handmade, so small differences in details are normal. I also shared photos with the buyer before shipping. I accepted the return and fully refunded the item and shipping cost. eBay confirmed customs fees are not refundable. I’m sorry, but I handled this fairly.
