  They fit nice & snug into the cartridge housing- (some Shure mics may have some glue residue or tape that should be removed first) The design precludes Shure's locking ring, which is a real time-saver. The ones i received did not have the red post marked, but the (negative, i'm assuming) post was marked in dark blue. For the price, they sound pretty decent & look authentic from a distance. If you have any mics with bad capsules, then you will be able to reuse the nice robust Shure bodies....

  This is a sad, poor quality product. I would never buy this again. Small broken pieces at best.
