Awakening with no memory of their former life, players take the role of a mysterious traveler who joins the ranks of the Valhalla Knights to keep the world safe from the Dark Lord. Single-players begin by creating a completely customizable character from five different races. Then gamers select their class from such options as fighter, mage, priest, samurai, and anchor. Characters can then begin their adventure by taking on missions for money. <br><br>As they explore the forests, dungeons, and cities of the game, players can recruit people they meet to fight along side them as they face off against over 150 different monsters including dragons, giants, ghosts, and vampires. Real-time battles allow gamers to alternate between characters on the fly. The game offers a variety of adventures for both single- and multiplayer action, including cooperative and competitive modes of play. Gamers playing together will work their way through 30 different missions while those playing on separate sides must form a battle party, set their wager, winning conditions, and then battle to the death.
