With a variable maximum aperture, this Nikon zoom camera lens gives outstanding results over a range of settings. The Nikon Zoom-Nikkor ED-IF AF-S has separate zoom and focus rings. The 24 -120 mm f/3.5-5.6 lens has easily identifiable rings with the focus ring closer to the camera, a feature common to the Nikon zoom camera lens. The Nikon Zoom-Nikkor ED-IF AF-S comes with an Exclusive Silent Wave Motor which allows for ultra-high-speed auto focusing, enabling the 24 -120 mm f/3.5-5.6 lens to work three stops faster at 120 mm. The Extra Low Dispersion (ED) glass enables minimal chromatic aberration and is designed for use with the Nikon low distortion internal focus (IF) giving the 24 -120 mm f/3.5-5.6 lens smoother focusing and greater body balance.
