Raising a baby is a simple matter of clicking the mouse in the whimsically designed Baby Luv. After assigning your bundle of joy a gender and attributes like skin color and hairstyle, you begin "caring" for the tiny tot by alternating between six tasks. Each task is represented by an icon on the bottom of the screen and takes place in a specific room or area. A vertical meter for each need is visible to help you prioritize your play sessions. All tasks are accomplished with the mouse.<br><br>Featured activities include changing diapers, washing the baby, rocking the baby to sleep, playing in either the living room or in the park, and feeding time. While many tasks simply involve dragging items or holding down a button, some offer more interactivity. The xylophone toy, for example, has you repeating a series of color-coded notes after the baby plays a song. Performing tasks boosts the baby's happiness, which earns you a varying number of credits to purchase new items.
