NotesMillion Dollar Itch (MDI) is a gritty 'hard wave' band with a very unique driving sound that hails from the seedier parts of the SF/Oakland Bay Area. The band is fronted by Jon Best (vocals / guitar), and is backed by the tough rhythm section of Stephen Beacham (Bass), and Brian 'Bub' McCarthy (Drums). Ron Heckert on keys rounds out the quartet. MDI is not a band that can be adequately pigeonholed into a specific musical genre. MDI has been compared to such diverse bands as Devo, The Butthole Surfers, Gary Numan, and a variety of late 80's, early 90's death rock. 'Angry America' was released on the 12th of December 2007.
