The Sigma DC 17-70mm F/2.8-4.0 DC OS HSM Lens For Canon is a high quality 17-50 mm f2.8 zoom lens with optical stabilisation for Canon Digital SLR Cameras. With a constant fast f2.8 aperture at 17mm wide angle it is compact, and with an overall length of 82.5mm (3.2") and diameter 79mm (3.1") it performs well even in relatively low light conditions indoors or at dusk. It can be used with a wide variety of subjects and it is an ideal large aperture standard zoom lens for digital SLR cameras featuring APS-C size image sensors. Optical stabilisation on the Sigma DC 17-70mm F/2.8-4.0 DC OS HSM Lens enables the use of shutter speeds 4 stops slower than would otherwise be possible and make it ideal for snapshots, landscapes and other everyday scenes.
