The variety of period and profession clothing makes them really stand out (and much needed). Though all of the people I purchased are about 6' tall (out of the ordinary for the 1940s), this isn't noticeable. Many viewers new to O scale have a hard time grasping the greater size relationship of trains to everything else. These people look just right next to a store, a boxcar or a 1:43 auto. Sturdy shipping. A++
