The drawstring toggle on the bottom is attached to both sides of the string so you would have to undo it to get the cover on and off. I put the toggle from my old cover on the other end of the string so I could pull them tight without having to remove every time. Very thin fabric, from experience with previous covers I expect it will last 1 year. Comes with a white plastic ring and a short length of white cord (in photos too) no idea what they are for. Overall okay purchase 👍
