Users who want to work late at night without turning a light on will likewise value the backlit keyboard. The Logitech G710 Plus uses Cherry MX Brown mechanical switches. The switches are quiet, and there is a good amount of springiness when they come back up. The keys themselves are comfortable, and slight indentations help keep your fingers where you want them whether you are in the midst of an intense gaming session or typing up a paper. Each mechanical key is highly responsive and will keep up with even faster typists with ease. The G-keys are offset from the main keys and bordered by an orange band, making them easily identifiable. The WASD and arrow keys are a different color than the rest, making them stand out. The Logitech G710 Plus is compatible with all versions of the Windows Operating System, starting with Windows Vista, and with Mac OSX 10.6 or later. It includes a USB port, allowing for easy connection of other peripherals to the keyboard. The bottom has cable management channels that keep cables connected to the hardware neat and tidy. The keyboard dimensions are 1.5 inches in height, 20 inches wide, and 8.7 inches deep. The cable is 6.6 feet long and connects to the computer via USB 2.0.     Took a while for this package to get here, seems to have been stuck somewhere for days-not moving. Box was torn up when it was delivered, seemed like it was coming apart, but the contents were right on! and am very grateful to have found this item as it was the genuine thing, HP stopped making this paper and others were falsely advertising this paper while sending something different, but this seller was honest and did send the right paper and I am thrilled-will buy from him again
