Have to run a USB cable from inside the case to outside to power the circuit board. No installation instructions, though it is quite simple to install. Despite all the negatives, it does work as advertised.

There are 4 screws on top of the button box that need to be unscrewed to get to the battery. The receiver unit is a white box with two wires, one wire is a USB-A connector that is plugged into a pc's "always on" usb port, or it needs a powered usb hub. Then another wire goes in-between the motherboard and the case on-off button. Worked out of the box.

The packing is double boxed with professional plastic film wrapping on the outer box and the component itself. You can hardly break the package even intentionally! The item is brand new and again since it is film wrapped, prepare to spend 5 minutes unwrapping the whole thing. The sound is good immediately out of the box. I will let it run a while first. Value exceeds expectation YES!
