Good and very bright which makes them perfect for use with a dimmer. I tested all of my dimmer collection (really old & old) with the light and they all work fine. Be sure to use the dimmers adjustment tab to adjust it to the lowest dim level that you want. Mine are set to minimum light and run at ~1.5W when on but they do take a few seconds to turn on/warm up. Max is 16.5-17 watts.
