I also removed the clip from the scroll wheel that creates the annoying ratchet effect. Now I have a vertical mouse with silent switches and a free spinning scroll wheel, the product that Logitech should be making right now instead of dumb AI garbage.

I had to turn up the cursor speed so that I didn’t have to move my hand around too much when maneuvering the mouse, but it already feels more natural than it felt an hour ago.
