For those looking to make their iMac 24" 1920x1200 into an external display, this is NOT a plug and play solution. I had to splice the yellow wires onto the backlight connector from the internal power supply (white and gray on the schematic, 11-12 on the OEM cable). My MacBooks recognized the controller, the backlight worked, but black screen. Believe it's my fault due to a short circuit. buying again
