They must have used a child’s hand to show scale. I was very disappointed as I opened the box. It does seem to work but as of yet I have no idea how long the battery lasts while in use. It did arrive quickly. So that was good but as of this moment that’s the only good thing I can say.

And the wait wasn't that bad, I mean it's a thermometer.
