Its three-inch LCD screen lets you focus and shoot with one click. Ease of use does not compromise image quality with this amazing compact camera; photos come out looking beautiful. Built around a 26-130 millimeter equivalent F1.8-2.7 lens, the XZ-10 features a 12 megapixel 1/2.3-inch type backlit CMOS sensor that offers ISO sensitivity up to 6400 and sensor-shift image stabilization. The small thumb rest on the rear panel is a touch of class that makes holding the Olympus XZ-10 comfortable during lengthy shoots, and the sturdy click-stop dial around the lens housing gives the whole camera a very rugged and reliable feel. A high-resolution touchscreen LCD display on the rear of the camera is the star of the show, offering clear and bright visuals and allowing the user to check out the detail on their snaps before deciding whether to keep them. The 26-130 millimeter lens is amazingly sharp, and the camera uses image stabilization technology, resulting in steady and beautiful handheld shots in any conditions or lighting environments. The Olympus Stylus XZ-10 compact camera offers excellent image quality thanks to this state-of-the-art optical equipment. The CMOS 12 megapixel sensor with ISO sensitivity, 26 millimeter focal length (35 millimeter equivalent) and 5x optical zoom all work together to ensure magnification without pixilation. This camera has a very bright lens with a wide aperture (1:1.8-2.7) for crystal-clear photos, even in poorly lit environments. The aperture or shutter speed can be adjusted in a snap to create different depth-of-field effects. This camera also has a video shooting mode, and can record 1080p full HD movies with stereo sound, as well as slow-motion capture. Accomplish all of your photography and videography goals with this super convenient and intuitive digital camera. The Olympus Stylus XZ-10 even comes with 11 built-in art filters running the gamut from cross process and diorama to gentle sepia and grainy film. Olympus has fitted the Stylus XZ-10 with a nice and fast 5x zoom f/1.8 lens, which closes down to just f/2.7 at the telephoto end. Like the earlier versions of XZ compact cameras from Olympus (the XZ-1 and XZ-2), the XZ-10 model features a full set of manual controls, as well as a rotating ring around the lens element. When you twist this ring around, depending on which mode you are in, you can easily adjust parameters such as aperture and shutter speed on the fly.
