    Simply Speakers was founded in May, 1992 in a small shop in St. Petersburg, Florida.

    We developed an easy to install speaker edge repair kit and trademarked the name "New-Edge-It ®". We sold our repair kits through classified advertisements in Stereo Review and Audio magazines. We were early adopters of the internet and added a website in 1995 and included eCommerce functionality by 1997.

    In 2005, we added a line of replacement diaphragms, recone kits and accessories for speaker repair and trademarked the name "SS Audio ®" in 2013.
    We developed a series of popular how-to videos dedicated to speaker repair, and continue that work by adding more content every year.

    In 2016 we started a transition into a primarily speaker parts and repair kit distribution model, with a smaller focus on repairs.

    Since our humble origins in 1992, our attention to detail and great customer service have allowed us to grow year after year.

    Item arrived very fast (3 days). Item fit perfectly. Only had a tiny little razor slice that was on the surface. I opened the package with a blunt tip so definitely wasn’t from me. But it won’t affect performance at all so it’s all good. Id definitely recommend this seller and this product to anyone who needs to refoam a W7. Price was legit you get what you pay for. Looks just like th original as well. Came out perfect looks brand new. (Except for the small slice) lol

    Great seller, fast shipping, and these foam kits helped me restore several pairs of ElectroVoice 100s 'Entertainers'. Instructions were clear and complete and the kits included everything that was needed for the repairs. I will definitely be buying more kits here as I have quite a few other speakers in good shape except for the surrounds which have ripped or deteriorated with age. Very cost-effective way of preserving well-built speakers and keeping them from ending up as scrap.
