  These are far more like "rods" than brushes. I wanted them for jazz style brush work on my snare. These perform as a bit softer than wood rods, but far heavier than jazz brushes. They came with no case.

  Camera cage is solid and works as it should. Movement of tilt swivel screen is not completely free, but free enough. A minor annoyance. If you're in landscape orientation, that part of the cage on the left side comes off with one screw, leaving the screen fully free. I don't see how it could be any better and still solidly fit the clamp in portrait orientation. No reason to pay more, the others are the same way. I'm happy with it.
