Worked well when I was spotting deer 300-400 yards away. Probably not as crystal clear as an $800 scope, but I could easily count the points on the buck that I was viewing , which is what I wanted to do.

Time will tell just how good, but for use on the range to sight targets out to 300m it should work just fine. The tripod is simple with a cheap feel to it, but again - for use on the range, I'm sure it'll do just fine.
